At McMillan Wealth Consultants, our professional financial advisers will work with you to understand your needs and goals and provide a tailored plan. This generally consists of four stages:
Your initial consultation
Your first meeting will be a consultation with one of our expert financial advisers to discuss yourself and your current situation, as well as providing the opportunity to ask any questions you may have about us and our services.
We’ll use this consultation to establish your needs, based on your situation, and financial goals of where you’d like to be and at what points in life. It’s also a good opportunity for our advisers to understand more about the type of risk taker you might be, as well as your attitude to investments.
Devising a tailored plan
Following your initial consultation, your financial adviser will then map out the market to devise a plan that is tailored to your needs and aspirations and then present their recommendations back to you.
We aim to keep you as actively involved in financial planning as you’d like to be, so your plan will naturally develop over time, reflective of your changing goals or attitudes, as well as general market conditions.
Setting up and actioning your financial plan
Once you’re happy with your financial plan, your adviser will begin setting up your plan and will action any ongoing administration on your behalf. We will always ensure you are fully up to date with your plan’s progress and that we receive confirmation of any actions taken on your behalf before we proceed.
Ongoing reviews and advice
Inevitably, circumstances will change over time, whether that’s your personal or professional situation or those outside of your control. We’ll work with you to ensure regular plan reviews and provide advice as circumstances evolve, ensuring your plan continues to work best for your needs and aspirations.
